* So you don't have to keep referring back to this page you can print these steps by using the print icon in the top right hand corner.

Step 1 - Up at the top of the screen on the menu bar click on the Sign Up tab. Click on the middle of the ad and then fill in your payment information. Next fill in all fields marked with an asterisk. You have now created a username and password to enable you to log in.

Step 2 - Log in using that username and password up in the top right hand corner of the page in the appropriate fields. Now that your logged in, click on the Profile Tab to start adding and editing your profile information. Under the My Status icon choose edit profile to start creating your profile.  Choose what type of profile template you want to use.  This will be the sport you participate in.  Every athlete will fill out the Personal Info, Academic Info, Coaches Contact Info, and Physical/Athletic Info in the same manner. After that your sport choice (sport you play)  will need to be filled out. If you would like to make changes in the future you would refer back to this profile tab.

Step 3 - One of the first things you would want to do after creating your profile is upload a profile picture.  Go back to the Profile Tab and again under the My Status icon select change profile picture. You now will have the option to upload a photo for people to view for your profile.  If you would like other photos for people to view you can choose the upload photos option just to the right on the page.  This will allow you to create an album of pictures for viewing.

Step 4 - The next step although not necessary, is getting your video online.  With the rise and ease of use on YouTube we have made it easy for you to link your video from that site to use with your AAG account.  If you should not have an account, go to www.youtube.com and create an account.  When logged on to YouTube you now have the ability to upload your video.  Once video is in your YouTube account, you now can cut and paste and link that video into the video URL in your AAG account. Again click on the Profile tab and under the My Status icon choose the Add Video option.

Step 5 - One of the last things you will want to do within the setup of your profile is to join a group.  This will allow coaches to easily search for you within the sport you participate in. Within your profile page, go to the bottom of the page on the right hand side and click on show all groups and then select the sport or sports you would like to join. Click the gray join group button.  You have now joined that group.

Step 6 - The last thing will be with the My Status icon we have been referring too.  Just to the right of this is a field for you to type some important details about yourself that pops up right beside your profile picture.  This will be a short brief statement that may get coaches attention. Stats, Honors, etc.

Step 7 - When you feel like you are ready and have an idea of what schools you would like to contact, use the CONTACT US button on the main menu to let us know and we will get that contact information to you.  Once you are logged in you can then simply go to the friends tab and select the invite a friend/coach tab. Copy and paste one of the sample letters from the ahtlete's toolbox at the bottom of the page into the message box; change the information according to your specification and then invite and email your message and profle url link out to recruiters bringing them back to your page for viewing.  Your link is already embedded in the message so no need to have to worry about getting that in there.
